YEP I did it. You must've heard me blah on about how much I love comfortable clothing and shoes. Endless amount of love for my Nikes, chunky heels, and baggy tshirts. So of course as soon as these orthopedic wonders starting being spotted on the runway and editorials, I was all for it, are you even surprised?
Never really been one to feel comfortable in jandals / thongs / flip flops, whatever you call them where you live, my feet just don't stay in them! I've always opted for sandals instead. So it only seems natural that these will be my 'go to' summer shoe. (That's if summer ever arrives!)
P.S This time next week, I'll be halfway to NEW YORK. Damn, I'm excited.

Around about this time last year, I blogged about my love for shorts that resemble pajamas. I still plainly really love pajama-style shorts because despite my 'shopping ban' in the lead up to my trip to New York, these silky Zara babies just couldn't be passed up. The cutest little peek-a-boo lace makes these otherwise plain shorts so alluring. In an effort to make them a little less sexy, I paired them with my good old Nike Roshes.

I think these pants have only appeared once before on this blog, which is pretty deceiving because I've worn them a lot! I like wearing patterned pants with plain white or black tops and these Zara plaid trousers are just the perfect amount of casual and comfy but still keeping the look above the 'boring' mark.
Although my hair kinda keeps things interesting enough at the moment I suppose! I've added some purple to it so I guess you could say my hair is a 'violet' colour now. Living up to my name much?
P.S Only THREE weeks until New York, yahoo!

This weekend provided a taste of Summer, hitting 30 degrees and being generally perfect. This cami from Hello Parry arrived just in time for some lazing about in the sunshine.
The weather has an undeniable effect on my mood and the past few days I've literally being singing in the streets I just love the heat so much. However the prospect of the next 5 days of rainy, miserable temperatures really doesn't impress me! Don't be such a tease, Melbourne!
